HARPER, Robert Ray -Robert Ray Harper passed away March 14, 2018.
He was 87.
He is survived by his wife, Gay (Gwendolyn), a daughter, Lynne Pepper (Garth), a son, Geoffrey (Lorie) and his four much-loved granddaughters, Ellie, Madelyn, Katherine and Margery.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Bob graduated from Stanford University in 1957.
He founded Robert Harper & Associates, a public relations firm serving corporations, in 1972.
He served on the Canadian Opera Company Board in 1969-70 and was a University Club of Toronto member and was a director in 2006.
He immigrated to Canada in 1966. He went back to the USA as Director of Public Relations for Ogilvy & Mather Inc., New York, from 1970-72 and returned to Canada to establish his own company.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future.
