KASTELIC, John - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Kastelic, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the age of 97.
Predeceased by Ingrid (Spehr), his loving wife of 56 years.
Dear father of Peter (Kathy), Tony (Shari) and Joanne (Harold).
Loving grandfather to Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Tanya (Carson), Brian, Scott, Jonathan (Jane), Adam (Stephanie) and Chelsea (Brent).
Great-grandfather to Claire and Benjamin.
He was an inspiration to his family and we have learned from his selfless giving to others. His joy in life was family and the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He did not fear death as he knew that our Saviour Jesus Christ was waiting for him. The family would like to thank the many dedicated caregivers who helped him at Sunrise of Mississauga.
Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory Catholic Church, 122 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. followed by Interment.
