THURSTON, Erna Antonia (nee SAAR) - -Born October 7, 1928, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at The Scarborough Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Jerry Thurston and loving mother of Brian (Heather), Jane and John (Tracy).
Grandma of Leslie, Katie, Michael and Amanda; great-grandma of Tivon, Terrel and Tehya.
Survived by siblings Ernie (Helen), Doris, Wayne (Judi), Keith (Rose) and Faye, and brother-in-law Ted (Dolores), and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother Norman and sister Lois. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, March 21st from 7-9 p.m. at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt. Funeral Service on Thursday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 3159 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, with viewing prior (beginning at 9:00 a.m.).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Erna's name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
