DEWSBURY, Gerald Howard "Gerry" - Suddenly, yet peacefully with family at his side, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Michael's Hospital in his 82nd year.
He will be sadly missed by Joyce, his wife of 59 years.
Loving father to Kimberly (Will), Chris and Paul (Sean) and predeceased by his daughter Cindy.
Cherished "Granddad" to Lindsay, Zachary, Brittany, Dylan, Amanda and Scott. Survived by his dear brother Doug (Hazel) and nieces Lisa and Kelly.
Gerry leveraged his CA and CMC into a successful business and entrepreneurial career making many friends during his rise through the ranks at Deloitte and at Alnor Earthmoving; the company he co-founded. Gerry shared a passion for travel with Joyce.
They visited many countries with their special place being Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Gerry enjoyed reading novels and was a member and published author with the Durham and Cocoa Beach Writers Groups.
A private celebration of Gerry's life will be held with family and close friends at a later date.
