TALNARIU, Ernest "Ernie" - February 15, 1955 - March 21, 2018
With heavy hearts and tears, I said goodbye to my best friend.
Ernie passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Verla for over 32 years.
Proud and loving dad to Krista Leigh and Bryan Alexander. Adoring Papa to Rayna Ernesta-Leigh, she gave him a reason to smile.
Son-in-law to Fred and Beverlea Hedley. Brother-in-law to Jan and David Kuprowsky, Brent and Sandra Hedley. Uncle to James and Sarah. Predeceased by his parents Laurian and Lydia Talnariu and his little nephew Matthew. Ernie was loved and will be missed by many.
Since retiring from OPG, we have enjoyed a lot of travelling and cycling tours. He fought a good fight but his body grew tired. His suffering is done, his body is now whole.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Forest Brook Community Church (60 Kearney Dr., Ajax) from 1 to 4 p.m. Remembrances will be at 1:30 p.m. Please wear casual clothes and in honour of Ernie, wear purple.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the ALS Society would be appreciated by the family. "E.T. has gone home".
