NIELSEN, Kirsten - September 21, 1918 - March 23, 2018
Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018, in her 100th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Georg (1982).
Loving, and deeply loved, mother of Hans and Birgitte (late Jim Worrall). Born in Aalborg, Denmark, to Charlotte Marie and John Jorgensen.
The family immigrated to Canada in 1951, settling in Toronto. Throughout her marriage, Kirsten was a partner with Georg in their business ventures in Copenhagen, in Toronto, and in Prescott, Ontario.
Thank you to Wieslawa and to the staff of Kensington Gardens for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place.
The funeral service will be held at Saint Thomas's Anglican Church, 383 Huron Street, Toronto, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 1 p.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
