NAKAWATASE, Junichi - Born June 26, 1927, Jun passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018 at Toronto Western Hospital.
Jun is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sumiko.
He will be missed by his children, Michael and Lillian, as well as his granddaughter, Hannah.
Born in Vancouver, BC, Jun made the journey to Kagoshima, Japan as an infant, where he spent his early years.
As a young 22 year old he returned to Canada to become a hardworking Canadian citizen and provider to his family.
Jun enjoyed fishing and swimming and was an avid Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan.
A private family service will be held today at York Cemetery.
