WAHLSTROM, Dr. Merlin Walter - January 21, 1938 - April 11, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the silent passing of Merlin in his sleep.
Predeceased by his dear wife Wanda, survived by daughter Laura, son Scott and wife Hilja.
Loving Grandpa of Stephanie, Jonathan, Adam, Sasha and Andres.
Also survived by brothers Allen and wife Denise and Marvin, brother-in-law Dennis and wife Kaye. After a long career with OISE at University of Toronto, both as a Professor and as the Chair of Curriculum, retired as Professor Emeritus.
Merlin enjoyed retirement which included many travels and cruises around the world with Wanda. He will be fondly remembered by many dear friends who were entertained with lavish dinner parties, many with amusing themes at their home in Forest Hill.
Many thanks to the staff at Revera, Leaside, who cared for Merlin over the past year and a half.
Resting at Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue, visitation on Saturday, April 14, 2018, 2-4 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2018, 11 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Merlin's name to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
