AKAI, Rena (nee LUCKHOO) - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Scarborough Hospital, Birchmount Campus at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late John Akai.
Cherished mother of Brian (Joanne), Peter, Joanne and the late Terrence. Devoted grandmother of Carol, Teresa, Bonita (Dalaney), Simone (Richard), Kevin and Roshan.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E., on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 5 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Matthew the Apostle Oriole, Anglican Church, 80 George Henry Blvd. (Don Mills Rd. and Sheppard Ave. E.) on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or St. Matthew the Apostle Oriole, Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
