ELLIOT (STONE), Betty T. - (1928 - 2018) - Died peacefully at Wyndham Manor in Oakville on Saturday, May 5, 2018 after a long illness.
Beloved mother of Robert (Peggy) and Donald (Kathy) Elliot.
Grandmother of James Elliot. Predeceased by her first husband James Sinclair Elliot and her second husband John Douglas Stone.
Loving sister of Roy (Mary) Waddell and Don (Marg, recently deceased) Waddell.
Betty was a Toronto native and grew up on Centre Island with her family. Betty was a longtime Oakville resident and active in lawn bowling, curling and volunteering for Meals on Wheels and the Canadian Cancer Society.
A private family service will take place with a Celebration of Life to be arranged at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
