MacLeod LloydMacLEOD, Lloyd Wilfred  - October 12, 1927 - May 6, 2018

Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2018 at Hazelton Residence in Toronto.

Beloved husband of the late Heather MacLeod (nee MacLean), loving father to Doug and Deb (Ward Sellers), devoted grandfather to Lily, Calder, Briana and Erin, brother of the late Millage MacLeod (Hazel) and Allison MacLeod.

Lloyd was born in Pleasant Valley, PE and lived the last 46 years in Toronto, always returning home to PEI in the summer.

Lloyd worked for Canada Packers/Maple Leaf Foods for over 40 years and often said, "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."

After retiring from CP, he consulted for Hub Meat Packers in Moncton and the Federal Government as well as being President of Western Canadian in Moose Jaw. Lloyd was a proud member of St. George's Golf Club for over 40 years. He also loved the stock market and actively traded on his own account until the last year of his life.

Lloyd and Heather enjoyed over 60 years of marriage and both agreed that they were blessed to have found the perfect partner. He found great joy in the accomplishments of his grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at the Movement Disorders Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital and to Aileen Marasigan, Evelyn Valencia and Cresilda Deciles for their kind and devoted care.

Funeral at Islington United Church (25 Burnhamthorpe Rd.) at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 14th followed by a reception at St. George's Golf Club. Memorial service to follow in PEI on August 18th.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.
