LeFroy GordonLeFROY, Gordon  -  Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 10, 2018 in his 90th year after a year long struggle with various health issues.

Gord is survived by his loving wife Helen of almost 69 years.

He leaves behind his three children Bob, Judy (Dan) and Jim (Louise).

He will also be missed by his grandchildren Steve (Natalie) and Jennifer and great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Taya.

From humble beginnings in Cabbagetown, Gord was the youngest of 9 children and the baby of the family. Gord loved to play baseball with his brothers and visit relatives and extended family in Bowmanville. Gord and Helen raised their family in Scarborough amongst wonderful neighbours who became extended family to this day.

Their friends on Jeffton Crescent and events there were a cherished part of their lives. Gord lived life to the fullest and enjoyed vacations to Myrtle Beach, camping trips, family cruises as well as coaching hockey. After over 40 years with Loblaws, Gord enjoyed his retirement working around the house and gardening as well as his daily walks around the neighbourhood. Gord's bright smile and blue eyes will be missed by many who knew and loved him but will live on in their lives through the memories he left and the love felt by all.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of McDougall & Brown Funeral Home,  2900 Kingston Rd., on Tuesday, May 15 at 12 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Burial to follow.
