LAKE, Paul Joseph  -  It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Paul Lake.

He has begun a journey that we all must make.

Paul passed peacefully at the Sunnybrook Hospital on Monday May 14, 2018.

Paul leaves many loved ones behind including his wife Eunice Francis, his mother Gwen Lake, his brother Stephen and fiance Joanne B., along with Stephen's ex-wife Joanne Lake (Gary).

Paul's father Joseph William Lake predeceased his son by a mere 6 months. Paul was uncle to 3 beautiful young women, Stephanie (Tony), Katrina (Chris) and Nicole (Stephane) and their families whom he was very proud of.

Paul worked at Metro for 42 years and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11 for more than 40 years.

Thank yous go to the nurses at the palliative care wing at Sunnybrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any cancer charity of your choice.

Visitation will happen on Thursday May 17th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a legion service happening at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also take place the following day, Friday May 18th, from 12-3 p.m. The visitation and service will be held at 3 p.m. at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home at 2570 Danforth Ave.
