ALATI, Luigi   -  Born February 3, 1924 in Sora, Frosinone, Italy.

Passed peacefully at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, late Tuesday, May 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Italia Alati and cherished brother of Lidia Mattacchione (late husband Vincenzo).

Loving father of daughters Santina Mammone (husband Alfredo) and Rita Cipolla (husband Joe) and grandchildren Norma D'Agostino (late husband Angelo), Nadia Remy (husband Lange), Matthew Cipolla (wife Aida) and Amanda Fantuz (husband Andy).

Adoring great-grandfather to Ryan Cipolla, Mya Cipolla and Alessandro Remy.

Forever remembered as a kind, gentle and quiet man who cared and did everything for his family.

The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18 2018.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West on Saturday, May 19 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow. 

In lieu of flowers and if making a charitable donation, the family would sincerely appreciate that you do so to the Hill House Hospice located at 36 Wright St., Richmond Hill L4C 4A1.

The Hill House was a great comfort to our "father/nonno" and to us, his entire family during his final week.
