BILDFELL, Michael "Myles" - Passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 16, 2018 at age 78.
He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and raised in Lachine, Quebec.
Michael was a kind, brilliant and unique man who carved his own path.
He was an independent thinker, a lover of literature, ancient cultures and golfer extraordinaire.
He was an admired friend to many and a gifted teacher to special needs children. Michael is lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth and sister Gale.
His memory is fondly cherished by nephew Ken (wife Fleur); nieces Emma (husband Jim) and Dorian (husband Craig).
Michael's loss is also grieved by his sister-in-law Helen Van Veeren, nieces Sacha (husband Chris) and Elspeth (husband Stuart) and by Elizabeth's daughter Wendy (husband Leif).
The scattering of Michael's ashes will be held at a later time.
Donations may be sent to the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives or the OSPCA, in Michael's ("Myles") memory.
