IRVINE, Effie Marjorie (Madge) (nee EDWARDS) - 1922 - 2018 In her 96th year, passed away peacefully at home in Toronto on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Madge was the beloved wife of the late Reginald Irvine (1981) and then Robert Bain (2006).
Predeceased by her brother and seven sisters, she was the loving mother of Reginald (Alan), Denise Irvine-Robertson (Finlay), Anthony (Maria) and Beverley Martin, cherished grandmother of Tricia, Melanie, Christine and Denise and proud great-grandmother of five.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 2547 Kipling Avenue, Toronto on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto West - St. Andrew's Church Parish Building Fund (community.archtoronto.org) would be appreciated by the family.
