TAIRA, Shin - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Shin's passing on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Michael's Hospital, at age 84.
Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Inaba) for 54 years.
Loving father of David (Isabelle) and Amy (Phil).
Devoted grandfather to Emilia, Max, Charlotte and Nikko.
Cherished by his sister Molly (Hirokazu Morita).
Predeceased by his parents Tokusaburo and Yoshio, and sister Toyo. Shin will be remembered fondly by his relatives and friends. A special thank you to the wonderful staff and dialysis team at St. Michael's Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at Bayview United Church, 2609 Bayview Ave., Toronto. Visitation from 1-2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m.
