Christie KennethCHRISTIE, Kenneth Gordon  - March 10, 1936 - May 31, 2018

Passed away at home May 31, 2018.

Will be missed by his loving wife of 58 years Alayne Heidi Christie who immediately after her husband's death has been hospitalized for a cardiac event.

en will be missed terribly by his two children Geoffrey Stephen Christie and Jennifer Susan Schnier (nee Christie) and their spouses Kelly and Alexander.

Kenneth will be missed by his sister Judith Cline (nee Christie) and brother-in-law Wesley Cline all of whom are attending to the immediate health needs of Alayne.

Ken will also be missed by sister-in-law Jean Christie, wife of the late Robert Christie (Ken's brother) of Hornby Island B.C. Ken will be missed by his grandchildren Noah, Ethan, Clare, Grace, Christian (Taura), Mikael and Erik and great-grandson Lincoln and his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graduate of both the University of Western Ontario MBA 1965 and the University of Toronto BASc Mining Engineering 1958. Ken was employed for 27 years at the Head Office of Ford of Canada in Oakville.

He was the President of the Board of Directors at Ennisclare and President of the Probus club of Old Oakville.

Dad loved to travel with Alayne and to make wooden toys.

Funeral Service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
