VANCE, John Franklyn - October 28, 1940 – June 6, 2018
With sadness we announce the death of John Vance who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
Loving Husband of Ruth Davidchuk (Vance) who were together for 37 years.
Caring father of Jeff (Jackie), Adrienne Tomlinson (Jodie) and Denyse Muncaster (Robert).
Devoted Grandpa to Kathryn, William, Madison and Mackenzie.
Will be remembered by his brother Bill Vance (Marion) and his nieces and nephews.
After serving 32 years, John retired from the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force in 1991. He then went on to own and operate the Coach House Inn in Tobermory with his wife Ruth.
As per John's wishes, a funeral service will not be held but donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
