White MargaretWHITE, Margaret (Peggy) Elizaabeth (nee PRATT)  - June 6, 2018 Her eyes were looking forward to that place beyond the sky, where Jesus held his outstretched arms, she knew it was time to say good-bye.

Peggy went peacefully with the angels to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 on her own terms in her 97th year with her family around her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill in 1993 in their 50th year of marriage. In 2004, at 82, Peggy began a new journey with Bernard "Bernie" Henson until his passing in 2007.

Dearly-loved Mother of Peter (Bonnie), Marilyn and Michael (Debbie), cherished Grandma of Matt (Carin), Christina (Scott) and Lisa (Simon) and delighted Great-Grandma of six great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her much-loved brother and sister-in-law, Cranford and Renate Pratt, Peggy will be missed by many other relatives and good friends. A talented curler, enthusiastic bridge player and fabulous cook who was born in Montreal, Peggy and Bill lived for 25 years in Hudson, Quebec and in 1977 moved to Ontario, first living in Toronto and then Alliston.

Thank you to the physicians, nurses and staff at North York General Hospital who treated our beloved mother and our family with such kindness and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., on Friday, June 8th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure's Church, 1300 Leslie St., North York on Saturday, June 9th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Aurora beside Bill.

A Celebration of Peggy's Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Peggy are asked to consider the North York General Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
