KUCHMIJ, Marta (nee WINTONIW) - Marta was born January 16, 1924 in the village of Solukiv in Western Ukraine and died June 18, 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
Predeceased by her husband Stephan Kuchmij (2000).
Survived by her children Halya Kuchmij, Dianne Matys (Danny) and Bohdan Kuchmij (Linda). Grandchildren Stephanie Matys (Andrij), Melanie Neily (Ryan), Andrew Matys (Danielle), Aleksandr Kuchmij, Nikolas Kuchmij and John, Jake and Jared Whitney.
Great-grandson Theo Neily.
Nieces Anna, Natalka and their families.
Extended family in Ukraine.
Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. on Wednesday, from 5-9 p.m., with Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre, 60 Richview Rd. on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Oakville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre or the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.
