Del Duca MichaelDEL DUCA, Michael Christopher - In every single aspect of his far too short life, Michael had limitless energy and was rarely content to sit still.

He was fiercely competitive and never missed the opportunity to accept a challenge, no matter the odds, just to prove he could get it done. And he did, more often than not.

Our beloved Michael was suddenly taken from his family and friends on June 21, 2018, at the age of 33, in a tragic car accident.

Our hearts have been broken since we first learned of this horrific news, and we know that they will never completely heal.

Michael will be remembered and cherished forever by his adoring wife and high school sweetheart Amanda and his two beautiful sons Benjamin and Alexander, who will grow up surrounded by incredible memories of how truly remarkable their father was.

Michael is survived by his doting parents Benny and Margaret, as well as his siblings Lorraine (Walter), Mark (Nicole) and Steven (Utilia).

He will also be remembered fondly by his in-laws Lou and Nella Martelli and Amanda's family including Christopher, Steven (Marie) and Andrew. Michael was an outstanding uncle to Alessandra, Jennifer, Emily, Sarah, Talia, Grace, James, Oliver and Layla, and he will be remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There are simply no words to adequately convey how much we loved Michael and how much anguish we feel. But we can all look back fondly and remember how blessed we were to have him in our lives.

He was incredibly loyal to family and friends and, in spite of his ability to occasionally frustrate those closest to him with opinions that he was never shy to share, Michael had a heart of pure gold. He was generous, fun and truly loved life, and he made friends in every single room that he entered.

He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. But he was more than that. He was decent through and through. And it will always be extraordinarily tough for those of us left behind who mourn his passing to believe that he is gone. He will be forever loved and forever missed.

Michael's visitation will take place at Vescio Funeral Home, in Woodbridge on Tuesday, June 26th from 6 to 9pm, and on Wednesday, June 27th from 2 to 4pm, and 6 to 9pm.  His funeral mass will take place on Thursday, June 28th at 9:30am at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, located at 100 Bainbridge Avenue in Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please help support Amanda, Benjamin and Alexander. Donations can be made at www.gofundme.com/del-duca-family.
