ALKSNIS, Verners - Died peacefully in Mississauga on June 12, 2018 after a long illness.
Born May 22, 1926 in Bebri, Latvia.
After living in Denmark and England, he moved to Canada in the 1950s.
He was a tool and die maker and later worked to develop new coating technologies for Walbar Canada.
He was the beloved husband of Karina, father of Olaf (Susan) and Anita (Paul) and grandfather of Miranda, Antonia, Tess, Aleksandr and Kristian. He will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Toronto, on July 7th at 11 a.m.
