LESLIE, Gladys Irene (nee GRACEY)  - Gladys Leslie died peacefully at her home at the Glynnwood Retirement Residence in Thornhill, Ontario on Monday, July 2, 2018.

Born on December 23, 1915 in Wellandport, Ontario, Gladys was the daughter of the late Clarence Gracey and Elva Jamieson Gracey and the beloved wife of the late Norman A. Leslie (1991), longtime executive of Miller Paving Limited.

Gladys is survived by her loving sister Muriel Rhodes.

She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, including Ted Rhodes, Doug Rhodes and Bob Rhodes and their families and her brother-in-law Dure Brandon. She will be missed by long-time friends, the Millar family.

She and Norm were generous and thoughtful hosts and shared their lives with family and friends at their home in Thornhill and their farm on Howe Island in the Thousand Islands.

Thanks are extended to the staff at the Glynnwood Retirement Residence and Gladys' private caregivers for their care and attention over the past several years.

A Funeral Service will be held at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, Toronto on Saturday, July 14th at 11 a.m. preceded by a one hour visitation. Private interment.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
