HAMBLETON, Donald Charles (B.Ed., M.A., Ed.D.) -  Died peacefully on July 2, 2018, at Toronto Grace Health Centre.

He is survived by Sheila, his wife of forty-seven years; his sister Sheila Glen; niece Gail and husband Douglas Edwards; sisters-in-law Winifred Duncan and Maureen Hedger; niece Sherry Hedger; nephew Robert and wife Lisa Hedger and great-niece Ashley; cousins Judith Pierce, Margaret Pound, Tom and Marilyn Pound, and Dorothy Macdonald; and an extended circle of family, friends, and colleagues.

Don was born on October 31, 1931 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, and grew up in North Battleford and Saskatoon.

Don and Sheila shared a full and happy life, centred on music, theatre, travel, their professional associations, and service to the community and their United Church congregation.

Friends may call at Metropolitan United Church, 56 Queen St. E., Toronto, on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Metropolitan United Church or the University of Saskatchewan.
