WILLIAMS, Mary Elizabeth 'Liz' (nee O’Neill) - After a brief battle with cancer, Liz passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Joseph Brant Hospital at the age of 65.
Loving wife of Gord Williams for 46 years. Cherished mother of Robert and Kevin (Christina), and proud grandmother of Kate and Chloe.
Dear sister of David O’Neill (Marty) and sister-in-law of Betty Keown (David) and Elaine Elliott (Jim).
Liz will also be dearly missed by extended family and numerous friends.
As per her wishes, private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Smith’s funeral home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Friday, July 13th from 5 - 8pm, and a Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 1:00pm in the Chapel. Reception to immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Liz to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (OFCP) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
