DOROSH, Irene (nee BARSZAK) - Irene passed gracefully this week at Credit Valley Hospital.
She was a brilliant teacher, linguist and lover of music.
Irene was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Marshall Dorosh and her parents, Nickolas and Katerina Barczyk.
She was a wonderful and steadfast mother to Evan and Roman. Sister-in-law Sylvia together with many cousins, friends and former colleagues will truly miss her wit, laughter and warm company.
Irene was a long- time teacher at Oakwood Collegiate in Toronto.
She was a very proud Ukrainian and happily participated on a regular basis at community and cultural events. Irene will be resting at Turner Porter Peel Chapel this Friday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Cawthra Road in Mississauga at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 14.
