McGIBBON, John - Born November 10, 1929 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Died July 10, 2018 in Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital.
Beloved and cherished husband of Margaret (nee Watton).
Loved and respected father to Iain (Stasi Killip) and Laura, doting grandfather to Cameron John McGibbon and Samantha Nicole Mepham, beloved great-grandfather to Keegan.
Despite a difficult childhood, after serving in the British Army, John relocated to Canada from Glasgow and became a dedicated employee of the TTC and Grey Coach lines. He also served 25 years on the Toronto Police Service Auxiliary.
John taught himself to play golf and that became his passion, reading and going to the gym kept him busy in the winter. Our thanks to the doctors and nurses on 6-C and K Wing for the wonderful care given to John.
