Naghibi SafipourNAGHIBI, Safipour Safidokht  - August 8, 1947 – July 11, 2018

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Safidokht (Dokhi) Safipour Naghibi after a difficult battle with cancer.

Her kindness, generosity, strength and courage were an inspiration to everyone she touched.

She leaves behind her husband Iradj Naghibi, daughters Mana (Douglas) and Nima (Andrew), grandchildren Anahita, Safianna, Natasha and Cyrus, brother Mehdi Safipour (Sofia), niece Roxana and nephew Noveed, along with a large extended family and countless friends.

Before coming to Canada, she was a diplomat's wife in Kabul, Oslo, New Delhi, Mumbai and Tehran.

After the Iranian Revolution, the family moved to Toronto in 1982, where Dokhi started and ran a successful business for 30 years. She was a lover of arts, beauty, bridge, dancing and music.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Aga Khan Museum, 77 Wynford Dr., Toronto, on Monday, July 16th between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
