PURRE, H. Erik - January 31, 1945 - July 4, 2018
Erik passed away peacefully at his home in Tlaxcala, Mexico, due to liver cancer complications.
He will be remembered and incredibly missed by his loving family and friends across Canada, Mexico, USA and Estonia.
Erik spent his professional years in the advertising and publishing industries in Montreal and Toronto, most notably being Co-founder and Publisher of The Bottom Line, a national magazine for accountants.
He and his wife, Gundi Jeffrey, Co-founder and Editor of The Bottom Line, sold the publication in the mid-90s and set out on a new life adventure, settling in Mexico.
There they launched a unique enterprise, running mycology tours around the country.
Erik was a popular figure in the Saunaka community and will be fondly remembered.
