PASSMORE, Gerry (Geraldine) Anne (nee FRECHETTE) - September 19, 1930 – July 16, 2018
July 16, 2018 was a very sad day for the Passmore family.
Gerry Passmore, wife of the late Joseph Bernard "Buddy" Passmore, passed away while embraced in the loving arms of her large family.
Gerry was a longtime resident of Scarborough and a very devout and hard working parishoner at St. Theresa, Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church. She was the matriarch of a large clan, including 9 children, 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren (not to mention many Mahoneys and Ayres!).
Gerry was a wonderful, loving, kind, generous, tough, smart and above all funny sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt and friend to so many. Gerry's love of laughter did not die with her.
All who have known her will never forget her indomitable spirit, quick wit and famous words in times of family chaos, "It could be worse...!" Gerry's family will always be grateful for the loving and gentle care she received from her "angel", Donna Penniston.
Funeral Visitation at Highland Funeral Home 3280 Sheppard Ave. E., Thursday, July 19th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Catholic Mass at St. Theresa Shrine of the Little Flower, 2559 Kingston Rd., Scarborough, Friday, July 20th at 10 a.m. Interment and reception to follow. We love you mom .
