LILEY, Robert Norman - Retired teacher, passed away at his home July 11, 2018.
Robert, also referred to as Bob and Bubba, was born on November 11, 1945 to William and Valerie in Halifax, Yorkshire, England.
He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1954 and completed his BA at York University in 1975.
He was a gifted teacher, passionate about musical theatre and Toronto sports teams, though nothing compared to the cheers for his beloved Halifax Town A.F.C football club, The Shaymen.
He is survived by children Megan, Rachel (Michael) and Michael (Melissa), grandchildren Georgia, Rosalyn and Hannah, brother Keith and sister Diane. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of his life was held with family and friends on July 25, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
