PIPONI, Rosemarie - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Rosemarie on November 14, 2021 who passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemarie's beautiful smile warmed everyones heart which truly showed the beauty of her soul. She loved to sing, she loved to dance, and loved a good laugh.
Rosemarie devoted her entire life to her family and those who she loved.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband Valdimiro (March 2011). She leaves behind her daughters Marianna (Arthur Sousa) and Angela (Moses Wajcenberg).
Proud grandmother of Melanie.

POLITO, Rocco - Born August 16, 1945 in the town of Serra San Bruno, Catanzaro, Italy. Deceased on November 13, 2021.
Rocco immigrated to Toronto at the age of 20 on March 15, 1965 and assisted in bringing his sisters, children and brother to Toronto.
Rocco married his wife Maria De Luca on June 7th 1964. He had three children, Rosetta (pre dec. May 3,1983) , Lina 1967 and Francesco (pre dec. February 14th 2000). Rocco is survived by his wife Maria, daughter Lina, and son in law Fabrizio. He is also survived by his sister Francesca, Addolorata, and brother Alfredo and sister in law Patricia.
He operated a successful brick laying company. He always dedicated himself to his family and provided for them.

GALLIMORE, Ken - Our dear Ken passed peacefully on November 13, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of Carol, caring and dedicated father of Patrick (Diana) and Christina.
Loving grandpa to grandson Declan.
Ken was loved by his many nieces and nephews.
Survived by sister Theresa (Arnold) Lambert.
Predeceased by mother Isabel McKay and father Ralph Gallimore.
Ken was an exemplary educator for many years serving as elementary school principal in Toronto Catholic School Board.

KLEMENT, Miro - March 7, 1934 – November 13, 2021
Miro Karel Klement was born in Prague, in the Czechoslovak Republic.
After the German Occupation, he and his parents left the country for France and then England, where they arrived in the summer of 1940.
When Miro and his mother returned to Czechoslovakia in 1945, they learned that only one member of his extended family had survived WWII; all of the others had been exterminated.
Miro, his mother and his stepfather left Czechoslovakia again after the Communist Putsch of 1948, arriving in Toronto in 1949.

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Patrick Killeavy at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, after a long, hard fight with aplastic anemia and numerous related health issues.
Mike was a loving husband to Judy for nearly 44 years, and he was the love of Judy's life.
Family meant everything to Mike, and he was the proud father of Michael, Colleen (Joe), Mary (Joe), Chris (Andrea), and very proud Poppa of Brendan, Elizabeth, Liam, JP, and Michael, and beloved brother-in-law of Gail (Bill).

MONTEITH, Daniel Wiley - January 30, 1944 - November 12, 2021
A beloved husband, father, brother and friend, Dan passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Amica Georgetown, from complications of dementia.
Dan leaves his wife, Sunny Wiles, his children, John, Eric (Marcia), Rosalind (Dean), Elizabeth (Darren), their mother, Pat Monteith, and his sister, Ann Scott (George), as well as six grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Olivia, Quinn, Daniel and Ivy.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Velma and John (Jack) Monteith, and recently by his brother, John.
Dan was immensely proud of his four children and he mentored them lovingly through school, sports and life until they each found their own path to success. His grandchildren knew him as Bumpa when they were little.

Suddenly, on Friday, November 12, 2021, we lost our dearly beloved, Basil Joseph Cultrera.
Basil was born in Toronto.
He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Ross Cultrera, and his sister, Kathleen Catalano.
He will be forever missed by his wife of 47 years, Donna, his nephew, Marc Catalano, Sam, Jacob, Chelsey, his niece, Lisa Catalano, mother-in-law, Sheila Lamont, Heather and Thor Jepsen and their family, as well as many, many friends.
Basil enjoyed life to the fullest, from his days with Seal Top Paving and Construction to his Formula Honda Dealership, where he shared his passion for cars, racing and his love of his 1969 Corvette.

SLATER, Blanche Winnifred (nee ADAMS) - Blanche passed away peacefully, at Castleview Wychwood Towers Long Term Care, Toronto, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 102.
Cherished daughter of the late Mary Adams (Wainman) and the late G. Sherman Adams.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Thomas, and by her siblings Douglas, Frances, George, Marianne, Kathleen and John (Jack).
She will be greatly missed by her sister Alice Luce, her son Frederick, daughter-in-law Anna Todorovich, and her grandchildren Alexander, Evan and Justin.
In her working years, Blanche was a public school teacher with a special interest in the primary grades.

SABISTON, Brian H. - Peacefully in Toronto, Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 82.
Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Brian graduated from Victoria College in 1961 with a UBC degree in Zoology and Psychology (1st graduating class from what was to become UVic), an MSc from UWO in Physiology, and a PhD from the University of Toronto in Clinical Biochemistry/Immunology.
Early career highlights were Officer Cadet RCN, immigration officer and ambulance driver/paramedic. 40+ years of distinguished service at DCIEM/DRDC: Head/Immunology; Head/ Operational Medicine; Business Development Officer; and Deputy Director General.
Seconded to DRDC Suffield, Brian served as Business Development Officer until his final retirement.

DUNSMORE, Mariann Cecilia - Passed away peacefully on the morning of November 12, 2021, with her family by her side, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law.
Daughter of David and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Dunsmore of Toronto, (both predeceased).
Ann will be sadly missed by all her sisters – Jo-Anne Rively, Teresa Dale, her twin Marilou Baker, Patti MacKenzie, and their partners.
She will be remembered fondly by all her nieces, nephews, and extended family. In so many ways Mariann was the heart of her family – everyone's favourite auntie.
Mariann will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched as a caring, relatable, passionate and a fun-loving person with a great sense of humour who lived simply and cared for many.
