La BRECQUE, Yvonne Marie - On October 13th, 2021, Yvonne Marie La Brecque got her wings and went to walk with the angels at the age of 62.
She is survived by her four children Christopher, David, Amber, and Beverley, who meant the whole world to her.
Besides her children, Yvonne is survived by her eight grandchildren Shylaa, Shylanna, Miles, Drevon, Jahvontay, Danny, Zia and Kream. She is also survived by her siblings Shelly, Sonny, Cindy and Joey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MARTINS, Jose dos Reis Moniz - Jose dos Reis Moniz Martins passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 at 86 years of age, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on January 6, 1935, in the small coastal village of Calhetas on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal where he was one of seven children.
Named Jose dos Reis (“Joe of the Kings”) to mark his arrival on the day of Epiphany – Three Kings Day, was an honour that he enjoyed sharing particularly at his birthday celebrations.

FERREIRA, Alfred William - We are sad to share that Alfred William Ferreira of Caledon, Ontario passed away peacefully on the evening of October 13th, 2021, in his 82nd year.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 62 years Lillian, his two loving daughters Michelle (Chris LaVigne) and Siobhan (late Dean Deverell), his treasured grandchildren: Michael, Eric, Maddison and Caden, as well as his constant companion Cookie the cat.
He also leaves behind his sister Angie Semans (Dennis), his nieces, nephews and extended family. He will be reunited with his parents and his sidekick Jenny, his Jack Russell.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beautiful and vibrant Mom, Cathie.
She leaves behind her two boys Billy (Kim) and Rob Leak, her beloved grandchildren Emily and Will Leak, her stepchildren Tony (Donna), Ian, and Heather Palmer and grandchildren Mac, Hayley and Charlie Lowden.
She was predeceased by her husbands Bill Leak and Paul Palmer.
After Billy and Rob were born, Mom still found time to volunteer at several places, including The Junior League, Distress Centre and Sunnybrook Hospital.

Wendy passed away peacefully at home in her sleep.
She is survived by her husband Colin, brother Fred (Rachael) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Twenty-three years ago Wendy donated a kidney to her brother Lloyd after his had failed.
Wendy had a successful career as sales manager for a company that sold accounting software to law firms throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Peter was born on November 20, 1937 to Peter and Katharina Brunner in Odzaci, Yugoslavia.
Peter was the founder of Brunner Manufacturing & Sales in Niagara Falls, ON and Brunner International in Medina, NY.
He enjoyed owning and operating his businesses, traveling, and spending time in Florida and with his beloved family.

Born in Manila Philippines on September 16, 1925.
Eufemia was predeceased by her husband, Teodoro Sr. and her daughter, Victoria.
She is survived by her daughters, Elenita (Ellen), Eufemia Preciosa (Mia), Regina (Gigi), Meliza (Mely), Luzminda (Lulu) and Perlita (Perly) and son, Teodoro Jr. (Roni).
Eufemia loved cooking and travelling, as well as taking care of her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Vivian on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the age of 90.
Leslie leaves behind his wife Margaret, his daughters Sharon and Janice, and his brother Ken.
Born in Bournemouth, England he immigrated with his wife to Toronto in 1953.
He was a professional engineer and an entrepreneur.

SHEPHARD, Shep, Ron, Ronny, Professor Shephard - Mr. Peanut, lover of hockey, tennis, linguistics, and Hawaiian sunsets, enthusiastic promoter of his four daughters and seven grandchildren.
He died October 13, 2021, after 86 years of a full life.
Ron will be remembered by his wife of 58 years, Dawn, and daughters Mary Donaghy (and her late husband Greg), Suzanne Shephard (Robin Dawes), Meg Stokes (Pete) and Michelle Shephard (Jim Rankin).
He will be dearly missed by his beloved grandchildren, Brian, Katie, Michelle, Michael, Stephen, Natalie and Kelly and also amateur therapy dog, Parker.
Born in Toronto, to a Scottish mother and Irish father, his first education came on the streets of the city's west end, staying out of the way of the Beanery Boys and getting after-school jobs by the age of 12.

MIDDLETON, Robert James (Bob) - July 15, 1923 – October 13, 2021
Bob Middleton passed away, peacefully in his sleep, on Tuesday, October 13, 2021 at the age of 98 years and is now with his beloved wife, Patricia, who predeceased him on December 28, 2013.
Bob is survived by his sons Dan (Debbie), Dave (Dianne), along with grandchildren, Julie, Lisa, Christopher, Christine, Leigh and nine great-grandchildren.
Also survived by his brother Bill Middleton (Marie). Bob joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in August 1942 at the age of 19 in Toronto.
Bob served his country and the free world during WWII as a Navigator in Lancaster and Halifax bombers. He returned 33 times to the home base of 431 Squadron located at the Croft aerodrome in northern England.
Bob returned to Toronto in April 1945 and married his fiancé, Patricia, in 1946 and started to build their house where they raised their sons and he lived in until his passing.
Bob worked for Bell Canada for the next 39 years progressing from a draftsman to a central office foreman until he retired. In his last 2 years, his son Dan and Bob wrote and published a first-hand story of his life growing up in Toronto through to his service in the RCAF told through over 400 pages and 300 personal photographs and documents.
It is titled, "Luck is 33 Eggs" highlighting his 33 operations over war-torn Europe and returning for a fresh egg at breakfast. In 2020, Bob proudly received an honourary induction into the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, 431 Air Demonstration Squadron recognizing his service in 431 Squadron during WWII.
The family are grateful for the medical care he received while at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Memorial donations may be made to the following: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (Hamilton), National Airforce Museum of Canada (Trenton), Bomber Command Museum of Canada (Nanton, Alberta) or Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.
