He was 60 years young.
Whether you knew him as Gabriel, Gaby, Gab, Gabe, Larry or Dad you definitely knew when he was in the room!
He was a generous spirit, would give you the shirt off his back, and everyone loved him.

Nicoletta was born on May 9, 1941 in Toritto (Bari), Italy to Nicola and Donata Sardone (Fariello) and immigrated to Canada on May 5, 1958.
She was predeceased by her sister, Domenica Grieco, her brother, Ignazio (Lenuccia), her sister, Rosa, her brothers-in-law, Antonio Grieco and Stefano Sforza and her sister-in-law, Mary Sardone (Marino).

Passed suddenly at home.
Born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, he was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Howard Lewis, and four siblings – Gordon, David, Stephen, and Beverly; as well as his best friend Agnes Blakeman.
Maynard leaves 3 sisters, Wanda, Debbie and Brenda and his sisters-in-law, Theresa and Marlene.

JORDAAN, Bernard - Passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, surrounded by his family, in his 84th year.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lois of 28 happy years.
He will be remembered by his daughter Vonita (Greg), his son David (Debbie), his grandchildren Brittany (Jigar) and Ashley (Austin), great-grandchildren Kayden and Lain, and very special niece Barb (Brad).
He is survived by his sisters Audrey (Vern) and Rhona (Walter), brother John, along with nieces and nephews throughout Canada, Cape Town, South Africa and Australia.
Bernard was very active in his community. He was instrumental in promoting benefits for local seniors and advocating for senior supports and rights.

HASKETT, John Anthony - September 24, 1937 - October 14, 2021
Passed away after a short battle against pneumonia.
John is survived by his sister Frances, who lived with him at Woodhall Park Care Community in Brampton.
Predeceased by his father Frank, mother Mary, brother Paul, sister-in-law Nancy, and most recently, sister Dianne (Wise).
He was a proud uncle and great-uncle to several nephews and nieces.
John joined the Navy at age 17 and served for 5 years. His career then spanned several years at Rowntree and Nestle.

CARNEY, Sophia Gaudelius - January 2, 1930 - October 14, 2021
Sophia "Fiep" Gaudelius Carney, born January 2, 1930 in Amsterdam, Holland, passed away October 14, 2021.
In 1952, Fiep married Ben Gaudelius (1929-1989) in Amsterdam, and in 1954 they immigrated to Canada.
Fiep was an avid tennis player, skier and golfer, and enjoyed time at their vacation home in Ellicottville, New York.
In 1993, Fiep married George Carney (1927-2000) and moved to Florida.
They loved spending winters in Florida and summers in Minnesota. In 2009, Fiep moved to Foxdale Village in State College, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed many activities including choir and the recorder group.

STOKES, Robert 'Bob' George - It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Stokes announce his passing on October 14, 2021, peacefully at home with love ones at his side in his 86th year after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed by Mary, his beloved wife of 58 years; his 2 sons, Peter (Meg) and Greg (Terri-Jean) along with his 4 wonderful granddaughters, Jenna, Kate, Natalie and Kelly.
Even on the bad days, granddaughters have a special magic and could bring out a smile or a laugh from Gramps.

DOTO, Francesco Paolo - Known by loved ones as Paolo, passed away peacefully, at the age of 90 years old, at Michael Garron Hospital, in Toronto early Thursday, October 14, 2021 surrounded by his wife, Teresa Doto (nee Cornacchia), and his loving children.
Paolo was the sixth of nine children born to Margarita and Michele Doto on April 4, 1931 in Deliceto, Italy. He came to Canada in July of 1959 and started a new life with the love of his life, Teresa.
He supported his family for decades as a welder worker for Diesel Equipment.

La BRECQUE, Yvonne Marie - On October 13th, 2021, Yvonne Marie La Brecque got her wings and went to walk with the angels at the age of 62.
She is survived by her four children Christopher, David, Amber, and Beverley, who meant the whole world to her.
Besides her children, Yvonne is survived by her eight grandchildren Shylaa, Shylanna, Miles, Drevon, Jahvontay, Danny, Zia and Kream. She is also survived by her siblings Shelly, Sonny, Cindy and Joey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

MARTINS, Jose dos Reis Moniz - Jose dos Reis Moniz Martins passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 at 86 years of age, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on January 6, 1935, in the small coastal village of Calhetas on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal where he was one of seven children.
Named Jose dos Reis (“Joe of the Kings”) to mark his arrival on the day of Epiphany – Three Kings Day, was an honour that he enjoyed sharing particularly at his birthday celebrations.

FERREIRA, Alfred William - We are sad to share that Alfred William Ferreira of Caledon, Ontario passed away peacefully on the evening of October 13th, 2021, in his 82nd year.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 62 years Lillian, his two loving daughters Michelle (Chris LaVigne) and Siobhan (late Dean Deverell), his treasured grandchildren: Michael, Eric, Maddison and Caden, as well as his constant companion Cookie the cat.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beautiful and vibrant Mom, Cathie.
She leaves behind her two boys Billy (Kim) and Rob Leak, her beloved grandchildren Emily and Will Leak, her stepchildren Tony (Donna), Ian, and Heather Palmer and grandchildren Mac, Hayley and Charlie Lowden.
She was predeceased by her husbands Bill Leak and Paul Palmer.
After Billy and Rob were born, Mom still found time to volunteer at several places, including The Junior League, Distress Centre and Sunnybrook Hospital.

Twenty-three years ago Wendy donated a kidney to her brother Lloyd after his had failed.
Wendy had a successful career as sales manager for a company that sold accounting software to law firms throughout the U.S. and Canada.
