PFEIFFER, Harry 'Dennis' - With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Dennis Pfeiffer, age 78, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017.
Dennis was a private, humble, and outdoorsy man who will be remembered for his intense love of nature. He was an award-winning trapper and a skilled hunter and fisherman. He had a strong interest in native arts and crafts, and created some of the most beautiful walking sticks and dream catchers. He was also known to enjoy a good pow-wow. Dennis was a member of the Preston Legion Branch 126, where he enjoyed many successful games of snooker and pool.
Dennis will be forever loved by his wife of 40 years, Eleanor Martin.
VON MILKE, Erich Oskar - (September 17, 1928 – September 25, 2017) - Peacefully departed this life shortly after celebrating his 89th birthday with family and friends.
Dear son of Theophil and Elsa (Sperber) Milke of Bottrop, Germany, brother of Heinz and Helmut.
He came to Canada in 1951 to start a new life. As a bricklayer and master stonemason, he found work in the growing construction industry in Canada, first working in Halifax, then Hamilton, Galt, and later in Waterloo Region. His specialty was fieldstone fireplaces and fieldstone veneer, and he left many fine testimonials to his work in Waterloo Region and surrounding area.
WAGNER, Elizabeth 'Betty' A. (nee Busch) - (June 26, 1944 – September 24, 2017) - Passed peacefully at her home in Wellesley.
Loving wife of Wilbert (Wib). Dear mother of Michael (Carrie), Peter, and Julie (Andre Pankiw).
Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Katherine, Lucy, Gwyneth and Meredith, her brother Jacob Busch, sister Mary Busch and brother-in law Norman Herteis.

Johann is survived by a brother Adolf in Austria and is predeceased by seven siblings.
RICHMOND, Catherine 'Cathy' - At age 45, of Mitchell passed away suddenly on September 24, 2017.
She is survived by her husband Wayne, son Matthew, step-children Candace, Kirk and Chris, mother Janet Schneider, sister Jeannie Rolleman (Norm), the Richmond family, her soul sisters Jen (Chris), Lisa (David), Sandra (Darrin), Pauline (Phil), Carol (Mike), Maria and her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her many friends.

CONNORS, Karen (Johnson) - With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Karen on September 24, 2017, at the age of 58, with her family by her side.
Karen will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend of 36 years, Brian, and their children, Scott (Jessica), Jennifer (Andrew), Kelly (Gregory) and Nicole. She will be forever missed by her nine grandchildren: Brooke, Dylan, Owen, Riley, Tyla, Aiden, Vanessa, Hailey and Ava, who were all lucky enough to receive a lifetime of love from her. She will also be missed by her mother, Florence Johnson and sister, Brenda Hendy as well as her father in law, Jim Connors.
Karen was predeceased by her father, Albert Johnson and her mother in law, Lorraine Connors. She will also be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
JAGIELLOWICZ, Romuald - Passed away on September 24, 2017.
Born in 1923, close to Vilno (Poland), young Romuald was sent to Siberia at the start of Second World War. When the Axis pact was broken, Romuald lied about his age to join the Free Polish Army.
He saw active service as Forward Recon/Bombadier in the Middle East, North Africa and Italy, especially Monte Cassino, Bologna and Ancona.
Post war he studied in England before immigrating to Canada in early 1950s.
After along career in Industrial Engineering he became a technical teacher at the secondary school level. He enjoyed teaching until his retirement.
McLEOD, Janet Edith (Marshe) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved mother Janet passed away on September 24, 2017 at her home after a brief illness.
Born on May 21, 1952 in New Waterford, Cape Breton Island, she was the eldest daughter of the late Wallace and Joyce (Mitchell) Marshe. She was predeceased by her brother Gordon and is survived by her brothers Robert (Beatrice), Peter (Terri) Stephen (Cheryl) and her sister Coleen who was her constant companion and caregiver.
Our mother led a simple life and dedicated it to raising us, her children, Dianne (Mike), Wally and Erica and was unfailing in her commitment to give us the best life she could. She didn't have much in the way of material possessions but she had an abundance of love and loyalty to her family. Our mom was also the birth mother to her son John, who she selflessly and lovingly placed for adoption as an infant.
LANDERS, James Edward - Passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 at the age of 78.
Beloved partner of Eva Lemelin. Jim will be missed by his sister Monica Riley. He will be remembered by stepsons Paul(Kim) Haynes and Mark(Terri) Haynes and their children Kaitlyn, Abigail, Christina, Andrew and Brandan and the great grandchildren Mia, Hayden and Maddison. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

O'GRADY, Genevieve 'Jan' Marie (Broders) - With thanksgiving for a wonderful life well lived, Genevieve passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace in Fergus, Ontario, on September 23, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late Norman Edward O’Grady (2006) and the much loved mother of Kathleen of Fergus, Ontario and Martin of Barrie, Ontario. Genevieve was the very proud grandmother of Laura and Elise, and will be remembered fondly by their mother, Kim. She also treasured her relationship with her 'adopted' son, Fr. Ray Earle, of St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Genevieve was the daughter of the late Maurice and Elizabeth Broders of Tilting, Fogo Island, Newfoundland, and was the only surviving member of her sibling group of ten. She was the cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews in Newfoundland and Ontario.
