Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Kieswetter in 2003. 

Beloved mother of Shirley (Dave) Ainsworth, Brian (Marilou) Kieswetter, Sandy (Randy) Hergott, and Garry Kieswetter, all of Kitchener. Loving Grandmother to Wendy (Clyde) Gaudette, Heather (Barry) Sullivan, Jennifer Kieswetter (Greg Grolle), Wesley Kieswetter and Melissa Hergott. Loving Oma to Zachariah, Josiah, Addison, Luke, Justin, Ryan, Teagan, Declan, Victoriah and Calisiah. 


Wagner EvelineWAGNER, Eveline Margaret  -  Passed away peacefully on Monday October 23, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 96. 

Survived by her only sister, Dolores Chalmers. Cherished mother of three daughters, Judie (Hal) Werner, Debbie (Larry) Spiegelberg, Dale (Richard) Schmidt. 

Grandchildren, Amberlea (Joel) Melloul, Troy (Ronda) Werner, Lisa (Scott) Hennick, Cory (Brittney) Spiegelberg, Brent (Rose) Wagner, Devin (Marijke) Wagner, Becca (Kerry) McKay, Ryan (Tammy) Schmidt, and Sheila Schmidt.  She also leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her special friend, Darby.


Allan LornaALLAN, Lorna Sibbald (nee Cook, Pace)  -  (1922-2017)  –  On Monday, October 23, 2017, at the Hamilton General  Hospital, Lorna passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Lorna grew up in Hamilton, but lived most of her life in Kitchener-Waterloo. An avid swimmer, water skier, golfer, and traveler, she lived a long and full life. She was employed with the K-W School Board at KCI and was a life-time member of Trinity United Church.

Lorna was predeceased by her loving husband Hugh Allan. Lorna was a loving Mother to her son, Don Pace and his wife Lynda, her daughter, Pam Boutilier and her partner, Carol Dillman, and her step-daughters Liz Arnold and her husband, Dave, and Jane MacPherson and her husband, George.


Hamments TylerHAMMENTS, Tyler James  -  Passed away as result of a motor vehicle accident on Monday October 23, 2017, at the age of 32 years.

Cherished son of Douglas and Patricia Hamments; Beloved brother of Nathan Hamments (Victoria) and grandson of Ilene and Jack Davis and Leone Hamments; sadly missed by his girlfriend Korrina Chaston, cousins, extended relatives and his wide circle of friends and work companions.

Tyler was a General Machinist. He loved fishing and tattoos. Tyler lived life to its fullest. He put his all into everything he did! He worked hard and played hard!


Kenney EleanorKENNEY, Eleanor Grace Kenney  -  87, passed away peacefully at Cedarcroft Place, Stratford on October 22, 2017.

Born in Kuhryville, Perth County, daughter of the late George and Grace (Wootton) Kenney.

Eleanor taught all of her life in Blyth, Oakville and Stratford until her retirement.

She was a member of the United Church of Canada and was a volunteer with Friends of the Festival.

Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Frank Peter and the former Mabel Thacker.

Payson GregoryPAYSON, Gregory Arthur  -  Passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the age of 51 years.

Loving partner of Bobby Charlton and her children Brian, Brad, and Jessica, and grandson Liam.

Devoted son of AnnaBelle Payson. Loving brother of Debbie Payson, Tony Payson, and Liann Payson. Lovingly remembered by his nephew Tyler, brother-in-law Bert and Linda Chilton and their children Katy and Kristen, and sister-in-law Jackie Payson and Albert Skraba and Jackie's children Tabitha and Neaca. Also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by his father Ray Payson and step-father Alex Payson.


Houben JamesHOUBEN, James 'Jim' Jacobus  -  It is with great sorrow that the family of James 'Jim' Houben announce his unexpected passing on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017. 

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and is survived by his wife and best friend Diane (Maloney).

He lived in Wartburg for much of his career, then enjoyed semi-retirement at McCullough Lake, Grey County, before moving back to Wartburg to spend more time with his grandkids.
His son, Adam, lives in Ottawa with his wife Ann Balasubramaniam and their 9 month son, Keeran, who loves laughing with Grandpa. His daughter Jenny lives in her childhood home in Wartburg, with husband Brad Weber, and three of grandpa's favourite blonde grandkids, Coleton (11), Hannah (8), and Blake (5).


WHITWORTH, Celia (nee Thornhill)  -  Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Sunday, October 22 2017, in her 96th year.  

Beloved wife of the late W.A.O. (Allen) Whitworth (2009) .  

Loved mother of John (Karen) of Guelph and Ann (Ian) of Oakville. Loving grandma of Katelyn and Andrea. 

Predeceased by her four brothers Bill, John, Max and Jimmy. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.


Rumney GlendaRUMNEY, Glenda Lillian Maynard  -  Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, October 22, 2017, in her 79th year. 

Glenda was predeceased by the love of her life, Brian Sproule in February 2016.

Dear sister of Joan (Chester) Farbotko. Loving aunt of Gienia (Tim), Frank (Michelle), Peter (Theresa), LeeAnn (Don), Tom and Stephen. She will be sadly missed by many great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. Predeceased by her brother Donald (Thelma) Rumney.

Glenda was a longtime employee of Imperial Tobacco.


Curry KennethCURRY, Kenneth Wayne 'Kenny'  -  Passed away after fighting courageously to stay with his family, on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at Trinity Village, Kitchener at the age of  74. 

Beloved husband of Ginger for 41 years, whom he adored. 

Loving father of Kelly Curry (Shae), Kaylynn Casey (Trish), and Shannon Salter (Michael). Much loved Gumpa Gumpa, Papa and Grandpa Ken to Liv, Carter, Will, Bronson, Madison, Lydia, and Thomas.

Survived by his sister Sue Turko (Bob) and nieces Ashley and Raegen. Predeceased by his sister Heather. 


Fischer MurrayFISCHER, Murray  -  Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in his 89th year. 

Beloved husband of Barbara for 62 years. 

Loving father of Leanne (Jim Bergsma), Cynthia (Alton Wilson), Scott, and Sheryl (John Cowles). Much loved Papa to Melissa, Matthew and his fiancé Esthera Catana, and Skylar. 

Survived by his siblings Donald, Ann, Gail, Douglas, and predeceased by his brother Jim. 


Huras JonHURAS, Jon William  -  Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at Innisfree House, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66.

Predeceased by his parents Orval and Ruby and brothers Douglas and Paul.

Survived by his sons Chris and Tim of Kitchener.

Jon enjoyed his church activities including singing in the church choir. He lived 'Just for Today' sharing his wisdom, experience, strength and hope with many friends in numerous 12 step programs.


Rennie JamesRENNIE, James  -  Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at People Care AR Goudie at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of 24 years to Mary Faith Franklin-Rennie.

Loving Dad to Caroline (Mike) Pattison and James (Kim) Rennie. Cherished Grandpa to Natasha (Dustin), Jacob (Paige) and Owen.

Survived by sister Jessie of Scotland. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland, as well as by his special cousin Mary T. and his extended family and friends.


Schultheiss ElisabethSCHULTHEISS, Elisabeth (Hari)  -  It is with heavy hearts the family announces that Elisabeth has gone home to be with the Lord as well as her husband John. Elisabeth passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at her home in Kitchener at the age of 93.  

Loving mother of John (Jamelia), Helmut (Nancy), Carl (Mandy) and Bob (Terri-Lynn). Much loved Oma to Lisa, Jamie, Erin, Daniel, Melissa, Meghan, Melina, Colton, Holden, Grayson, Madison, Tyler, Afiya and Akiya and their spouses. Proud great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. 

Predeceased by her brother and 2 sisters.  

She will be missed for her warmth and caring personality. 


Dolotowicz ElizabethDOLOTOWICZ, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann (nee Harrington)  -  (August 20, 1927 – October 22, 2017)  -  The ambassador of Fairview Mennonite Home for the past 20 years has left the building. 

Left to celebrate her life are her children Debbie Toffner (Mike), Brian Dolotowicz (Debbie), Nancy Volz (Paul), Donna Dolotowicz, and Mary Leversidge (John), grandchildren Julie (Jason), Greg, Amanda (Clint), Melissa (Brett), Lindsay, Jocelyn, Whitney, Jennifer (Chris), Candace (Nick), Hilary, Adam, and Nicole, great-grandchildren Mackay, Hayden, Noah, Stella, Bo, Mackenzie, Jordan, Avery, Remmy, Vinnie, and Lasetta. 

Betty was predeceased by her husband Adam Joseph Dolotowicz (1996), her daughter Cathy Kay (2013), parents Patrick and Ada Harrington, sister Pat, and her brothers Buddy and Frances.
