For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Pugh EdwardPUGH, Edward George  -  (1931 -2018)  -  Our family is mourning the loss of my Ted, who passed away at home on the 26th July, following a 13 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease; our boys; Gareth, Jeremy and Adrian, and our daughter Catherine, also daughter's-in-law, Brenda, Teja and Sarah. Five grandchildren;  Michael, (Carrie Lynn) Andrew (Candy), Benjamin (Cat), Grace and Nora.

Hertzberger IdellaHERTZBERGER, Idella Louisa  -  Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Nithview Home, New Hamburg at the age of 100. Idella was the last surviving member of her family. She was born May 20, 1918 in North Easthope Twp.

Survived by daughter Beth and her husband Murray Schlueter, daughter-in-law Carolyn Hertzberger, grandchildren Karen Pilecki and Mike Tait, Krista and Paul Doupe, Blaine and Marie Hertzberger and Brett and Shauna Hertzberger and great grandchildren Julia Pilecki and Josh Pettigrew, Brianne, Dylan and Aurora Hertzberger.

WHITNEY, Mary Teresa  –  Passed away peacefully, at home, at the age of 92 on Thursday, July 26, 2018. 

Mary was predeceased by her husbands Ross Dennis Whitney and Anthony Miklusz. 

She was the loving mother of Ron D. Whitney (Bev), Dennis David Whitney (Karen), Gary Walter Whitney (Joanne), Ross Richard Jr. Whitney, Debbie Mary Manning (Ted) and predeceased by her son Dale Douglas Whitney.

BAUMAN, Henry M.  -  Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Barnswallow Place, Elmira, at the age of 79 years.

Henry Bauman was the loved father of Roger (Judy), Michael (Jo Ann), Lorraine (Keith) Clemmer, and Marjorie Bauman.

HAMMOND, Paul  -  Surrounded by family and held close in the hearts of all of who knew him, Paul Hammond slipped away peacefully today, Wednesday, July 25, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario. He was 54 years young. 

George and Joan Hammond’s middle son grew up in a large, boisterous family of boys in Ingersoll, Ont.

LITTLE, Rev. Wallace Inglis  -  Peacefully passed away at home in Stratford, surrounded by his family on July 24, 2018 at the age of 83.

He was devoted to his loving wife, Audrey of 60 years and was a cherished father of Jane (Pep) Philpott, Judy (Paul) Boivin, Karen (Rob) Congram and Kathy (the late Mark) Hoogsteen.
