BATCHELOR, David Charles  -  At Telfer Place, on Thursday September 1, 2016, formerly of St. George, in his 86th year.

Born in Trowbridge England, and graduated from Bristol University with a Degree in Civil Engineering.  David and his wife Anne immigrated to Canada in 1954. 

David was a professional engineer, who designed the Lorne Bridge in Brantford and the High Level Bridge in Paris. His building projects in the Brant County Area are numerous and he has won many awards for his innovative design.

Beloved husband to the late Anne (nee Luby-2006); loved father to the late Trisha Fox, Helen Batchelor-Davies (Colin), Jane Campbell, Christopher (Janice Cooke) and Nicholas (Dione); cherished granddad to Dana Fox (Ann), the late Aaron Fox, Lindsay Fox, Scott Melanie, Jesse and Sara Campbell and Victoria Batchelor; dear brother to Antonia Buckley and the late Elizabeth McGregor. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp funeral home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 1-4 PM.  Private Family Service to follow.
