Pattengale GordonPATTENGALE, Gordon Francis  -  Peacefully entered into rest at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on September 6th, 2016, at the age of 88.

Now reunited with his wife of over 50 years, Sue (2009).

Lovingly remembered by son, Doug; daughter, Debbie (Tim) Hollinger and daughter in law, Nancy Pattengale. His memory will live on through his grandchildren, Heather (Paul) Zacharias of Rosebud, Alberta, Jodie Pattengale, Vicki (James) Zettler, Jeff Hollinger (his fiancée Anne Soares) and great grandchild Kaylee Zettler all of Kitchener.

Gordon is survived by his sisters Georgina Lovell, Pearl (Murdock) MacPherson, sisters in law Anne, Sophie, Sue, Doreen and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Alfred, Alvin, Nelson, Raymond, Bill and sisters Evelyn, Eileen, and Doris all of Nova Scotia.

Gordon was born in Canso Nova Scotia. He was a hard worker and built his company Pattengale Heating and Tinsmithing. Gordon was a member of the Cambridge Home Builders Association and was one of the original members of the Wandering Canadians camping club. He loved to camp, tinker with his boats and create things.

Family will receive friends at T. Little funeral home, Cambridge, on Monday September 12th for visitation from 1-2pm. Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 2pm. In keeping with Gordon's wishes cremation will take place.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lung Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
