Scott FredSCOTT, Fred Hanson Scott, 92, of Waterloo and formerly of Stratford and Mitchell passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

Beloved husband of the late Audrey Scott (2007).

Dear father of Randy Scott (Agnes) and Wendy Scott (Herb Demorest). Loving grandfather of Nicole Scott. Dear brother of Jean Oppenhauser, Yvonne Tinning, Mary Swindall (Don) and Pat Patterson (Ron).

Dear brother-in-law of Evelyn Scott. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Olive Scott, brother Ken Scott, sisters Ruth Millington (John), Dorothy Miller (Jim) and Audrey Brydges (Nelson), brothers-in-law Keith Tinning and Earl Oppenhauser.

Friends will be received at Lockhart funeral home, Mitchell, on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Dunbar officiating. 

Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128, Mitchell; Army, Navy and Air Force, Unit #261, Stratford; or Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128 and Army, Navy and Air Force Unit #261 will hold a service at the funeral home on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
