McKINLAY, Norman  -  Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the age of 87. Born in Alvinston, Ontario, son of Christina and Peter McKinlay. 

Norm will be sadly missed by his son Dan (Michele, special friend), his most trusted companion and friend. 

Norm is also survived by his brother Don (Ruth – deceased), sister Anna - deceased (Don), nephews Peter Annett (Laurie), John Annett, Burt McKinlay (Marilyn), and niece Joan Mitchell (Mitch). 

Norman moved to Cambridge in 1966 and soon started his own concrete business: McKinlay's of Cambridge. He spent several years at the French River after retiring. He was a horseman of a different kind; miniature horses.

Thanks to Hilltop Manor for their kindness. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Barthel funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., and a private Memorial Service will follow.
