Johnston HildaJOHNSTON, Hilda Mae  -  Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in her 105th year.

Hilda spent her early years in Bridgeport with her husband Roy who operated Johnston Snack Bar for many years. Hilda was married to Roy for over 50 years who predeceased her when he was 69 years of age.

Loving mother of Marilyn Fries, a son Larry and his wife June. Beloved grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Survived by daughter-in-law Jacqueline and a special friend Jean and Bob Braun.

Predeceased also by her daughter Elaine Haskins; a son, Glenn and son-in-law, Bob Fries; parents, Issac and Emma Emmerson; sisters, Irene Kelly, Violet Goetz and Lil Willis and brothers, Harry, Albert, and Ted.

Mrs. Johnston's family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre , Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 3:30 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
