DOOLING, Edward William  -  Edward Dooling wanted to live forever and after being diagnosed with cancer, he did not lose that hope. Ed persevered with energy and optimism, strength and courage. Although he fought so hard to live, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, Ed passed away at the age of 64.

Ed was a strong man who always had a song in his heart and on his lips. He was hospitable to everyone, and loved to spend time around the house, working in his garden, and surrounding himself with his family whom he held so dear.

Ed will be forever loved by his spouse of 33 years, Darlene Dupe. He is dearly missed by his sons Jamie (Lynn), Dale, and Colin, grandsons Noah and Tyler, brothers Barry, Dan (Jean), and Paul, and sisters Debbie (Mark), Paula (Jerome), and Tracey (Mike).

He was predeceased by his parents Cora and Ned and his brother Dennis.

Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at T. Little funeral home, Cambridge, on Tuesday, February 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church (210 South St. Cambridge, ON) with interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery. Reception will be held at T. Little funeral home following the burial.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Lisaard House.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Nurses and PSW's at Lisaard House and the Nurses at CCAC for the care and compassion they all showed Ed.
