Pereira FrankPEREIRA, Frank  -  Peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Terrace at the age of 90 years.

Beloved husband of Maria Emilia Dutra Pereira.

Dear father of Manuel Pereira (Elsa), Joe Pereira (Josie), Linda McGaughey (Jack), and Sandy Neil (Phil). Avo of Richard (Amanda), Kristie (George), Allison (Alan), Michael, John (Diana), Amanda (James), Greg, Sarah, Phillip, Emily and  Olivia, and 9 great grandchildren.

Survived by his sister Ana Medeiros. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Adelina Pereira and  by his siblings Maria, Manuel and Filomena.

Frank was a founding member and past president of the Portuguese Club of Cambridge. He was instrumental in establishing the St. Vincent de Paul chapter at St. Ambrose Parish. He dedicated his life to helping those in need.       

Resting at Corbett funeral home, Cambridge, where family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5 … 9 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Ambrose RC Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff and care givers at the Marian Residence and St. Andrew’s  Terrace.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Ambrose Parish would be appreciated.
