DeBokx BrendaDE BOKX, Brenda  -  The Lord has taken our mother, Brenda De Bokx, to her eternal home on March 1, 2017.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Andrew (1995), eldest son, Bill (2008) and son-in-law Hal Bjornestad (2014).

Cherished mother of Ina Morschauser (Gus), Gerda, Peter (Carol) and daughter-in-law Kathy. She will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren.

In her 97 years, Brenda greatly impacted the lives of her family and friends with her big smile and words of wisdom. Her creativity knew no bounds when it came to painting, quilting, knitting, needlework and crafts.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at  Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, Kitchener. Funeral service will take place at Benton St. Baptist Church, 90 Benton St. on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Reese officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Benton St. Baptist Church Mission Fund or the ALS Society would be appreciated by the family.
