Polzin KathleenPOLZIN, Kathleen Cavell (Kay)  -  Another angel has been given her wings as our beloved Kathleen was called to be with the Lord. She peacefully passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 6, 2017 surrounded by her family, at 97 years of age. 

Wife of Robert Polzin, cherished Mother of Barbara Hobbs (Bob), much loved Grandmother of Kim (Joe), Cathy (Scott), and Sue (Fred); and Great-Grandmother of Amanda, Tyler, Jessica, Cory, Rick (Channon) and Malyssa. 

Kathleen is also survived by her Great-Great-Grandson Bronson. Kathleen will be dearly missed by her niece Valerie Sootherin. 

Kathleen is predeceased by her siblings Mabel (Steve), Edna (Les), Edith (Jack), Alice (Allan), Roy, (Elsie), and Art (Beatrice) and her parents Jane Clarke Ashby and Charles Ashby. 

Kathleen dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her family and the staff at Queens Square Terrace where she has resided for the past 3 years will miss her strength, love and devotion. 

A memorial service will take place at Lounsbury funeral home, Cambridge, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 am with interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation or Ronald McDonald House, would be appreciated by the family in memory of Kathleen’s love for children.
