Nafziger WilliamNAFZIGER, William Dean  -  Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, March 16, 2017, Dean of Waterloo in his 52nd year. 

Beloved son of Lewis and Idella Nafziger of Wellesley. 

Loving brother of Brenda (Bernie) Howorth, Lila (Mike) Tusch, Roger (Sharon), Stephen (Heather) and Grant (Juanita). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Allison (Andy) Yantzi, Lauren, Kevin and Leanne Howorth, Amie (Alex) Weber, Melissa (Scott) Kelterborn, Courtney (Jon) Miller, Kristen Nero, Josh (Shannon) Nafziger, Jillian Nafziger, Jaime (Tom) Jacomen, Thomas (Alycia) Nafziger, Travis Nafziger as well as his 11 great nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his nephew Jonathan Howorth and great niece Harper Miller. 

Dean was a long time and valued employee of Weber Supply for 33 years. He enjoyed his time as owner and operator of 'Shroom's at the St. Jacobs and Kitchener farmers markets. He valued his independence made possible by his community and the Independent Living Centre and by a wide circle of supporting friends.  He valued time spent and friendships made at Chesley Lake. 

Friends may visit with the family at Wellesley Mennonite Church, 157 David Street, Wellesley on Sunday from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the church on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2 p.m.  Pastor Kara Carter officiating. Spring interment at Rush's Cemetery. 

Donations to Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region would be appreciated.
