Barna AlBARNA, Albert 'Al' Victor - Passed away peacefully on April 5, 2017, with family by his side, at Parkwood Mennonite Home in his 84th year. 

Predeceased by youngest son Peter (1986). Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Marlene (Brush) and sons Paul (Karen), Terry (Lynne), Glenn (Suzanne).

Sadly missed by grandchildren Michele (Steven) Maly, Ashley Clarke, Kaitlin (Tim) Scott, Benjamin, Rachel, Christian, Lauren, and Madison Barna, as well as great-grandchildren Olivia, Fiona, Amelia and Emmett.

Fondly remembered by sister Emma (Alex) Dobronyi and sisters-in-law Shirley Hunter, Dorothy (Bruce) Godbold, Lynda (Harold) Johnson and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Al was a valued employee of CP Rail for 42 years. He loved to sing and was a lifetime member of K-W Musical Productions, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society and several church choirs.

The family will welcome friends for visitation at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau, Ontario on Saturday April 8th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm, and again on Sunday at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Al’s Life in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm, immediately followed by reception.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Grand River Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice.
