Brown LeslieBROWN, Leslie John 'Les' - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital on Monday, November 13, 2017, at the age of 74 years.

Beloved husband for 53 years of Irene Brown of Elmira.

Dear father of Cara Brown and Gareth Brown, and father-in-law of Tara Brown. Loved grandfather of Gavin and Dylan. Lovingly remembered by his cousins and extended family in Wales.

He was the retired owner/operator of the Winenot Store in Kitchener and will be missed by his many friends and customers.

Les was a member of Gale Presbyterian Church in Elmira and was very active in the music program. He and his guitar will be sadly missed by his Gale family.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 2 p.m. at Gale Presbyterian Church, 10 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira. A reception will follow in the church hall.
